Young Lions Roar is a youth-centered arts and empowerment collective based in the Quad Cities. We use poetry, performance, and creative writing as tools for personal liberation, community healing, and social change. Founded with a vision to amplify the voices of young people—especially Black, Brown, and marginalized youth—our programs center radical imagination, self-expression, and leadership development.

Through workshops, school partnerships, open mics, and public events, we create brave spaces where young artists can roar: to speak truth, claim their power, and shape a better world. At Young Lions Roar, we believe that when young people are heard, transformation begins—not just in them, but in all of us.
